When dealing with large backlogs containing over 100 items, it is important to note that when moving or adding items to the Program Increment (PI), they may not always end up at the expected position at the end of the backlog.

This can result in items being placed in unexpected positions, potentially altering the order of items without recording in the audit log.

Steps to Reproduce

Prerequisites:

Have a big backlog (over 100 items)

1. Add new Features to the PI by moving existing ones from old PIs or

1. Add new Features via API

Expected Results

The new features are positioned at the end of the list/rank

Actual Results

Items are placed in unexpected positions, potentially altering their order without being recorded in the audit log.

Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
