PROBLEM: There are not any Role APIs to create/modify roles other than manual action through the UI.  The UI also makes it very (or impossible) to compare or audit roles.  There is also no way to export/import these permissions for audit purposes or validation.

IMPACT: In the event of an audit, we need to ensure that permissions and access are consistent across environments. Furthermore, the ability is needed to clone the roles and permissions to ensure validation and testing are done in the same way,

Adding a roles endpoint to the API would be a fantastic addition to maintaining roles.
