Issue Summary
With the setting “Allow task sync from Jira Align to Jira" set to “Jira to Jira Align Sync", it is expected that no changes made on Jira Align are synchronized to Jira, however when a change is made on the task, it goes to the synchronization queue and gets stuck in there, from this point, no changes can be pulled in from Jira because there is this change pending to be pushed to Jira, but it will never be pushed because of the setting “Allow task sync from Jira Align to Jira" will prevent that to happen.
This is reproducible on Data Center: yes
Steps to Reproduce
- With the setting “Allow task sync from Jira Align to Jira" set to “Jira to Jira Align Sync"
- On Jira > Create a subtask under a story that is synchronized to Jira Align
- Log 2 hours in the subtask on Jira
- On Jira Align > Change the Task description to any value
- Add more hours on the Jira Task
- The error will show in the audit log
Expected Results
With the setting “Allow task sync from Jira Align to Jira" set to “Jira to Jira Align Sync", it is expected that no changes made on Jira Align are synchronized to Jira
Actual Results
The task will fail to sync with error "No changes were pulled in from Jira a Jira Align update waiting to be pushed to Jira Syncing from JIRA to Align"
Workaround
The workaround is to change the setting “Allow task sync from Jira Align to Jira" to Bidirectional sync
