Issue Summary
Apply Backlog Rank is not working as described in the article
Steps to Reproduce
- Login to JA.
- Select a Program and go to Forecast in the left panel.
- In the top Selection, select "Program" and "Feature (Jira Epic)"
- Click on "Apply Backlog Rank", and select the Program name under "Program and Program Increment Level Rank"
- Now duplicate the tab and go to Backlog in the left panel.
- Features shown in both reports should be in the same order, as per the article but it is not.
- The same happens for Epics in place of features in the Forecast report.
- Use the below links to see the results of both the Forecast and Backlog view for a Program:
Forecast: https://alignsupport.jiraalign.com/ForecastMainPage?FirstTime=True&stfilter=true&Programs=482&Releases=405
Backlog: https://alignsupport.jiraalign.com/prioritize?SelectedView1=3&stfilter=true&Programs=482&Releases=405
Expected Results
Both the reports should have features or Epics as per selection, in the same order.
Actual Results
Forecast and Backlog show different orders when Apply Backlog Rank is used.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
