Issue Summary

Pages in general take longer to load in the new navigation than in the old.  One example in a customer environment is the objectives page:

Old Navigation - 7.4 seconds
New Navigation - 13.7 seconds

This is just a specific example - other also pages have the varying levels of performance degradation

Steps to Reproduce

1. Load a grid page with a set of filters in the old UI
2. Load the same page with the same filters in the new UI

Expected Results

The performance with new navigation enabled would be quite comparable to the old nav

Actual Results

In almost all cases it is worse, ranging from a few extra seconds up to 20+ seconds more

Workaround

No known workaround for (aside from using old nav)
