Issue Summary
Selecting multiple Programs through filter in the Backlog disables ranking in the new UI. However, in the old nav, we could select multiple programs through tier1 and still rank the items in the backlog.
Even though applying filters in old UI also disables the Ranking functionality, we had the option to select multiple programs through tier 1 config and rank the work items which is not possible in the new nav.
Steps to Reproduce
Old Nav experience -
- Select multiple Programs through Tier1 Configuration bar
- Navigate to Program Backlog
- Rank Features under multiple Programs
New Nav experience -
- Select a Program from top Navigation
- Navigate to Backlog at Program level
- Select multiple Programs using Apply Filter option
- Notice the message - "Ranking is disabled as filtering is on"
Expected Results
It should be possible to Rank work items in the backlog even having multiple programs selected in the new nav.
Actual Results
Unable to Rank items in the backlog when multiple Programs are selected. However, this was possible in the old UI where multiple programs can be selected through tier1 config bar and still having the ranking enabled in the backlog.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
