The biggest problem with Jira Align is believing with confidence what it's telling you is true and reliable. There are so many issues that can cause data and reports to be incomplete or wrong, whether due to bad board or team setup, bad data flowing from Jira, sync issues, etc. And many of the issues are not readily apparent. When senior management can't have confidence in the data they're seeing in Jira Align, they don't want to use it and don't want to invest in it. Atlassian should be providing as part of Jira Align a health monitoring component that looks at current issues in the system, whether data, config, or otherwise, and reports and alerts on them. Showing this too on a historical basis would allow admins and management to track teams' progress toward better tool usage and data management. We had to hire a Tableau developer with experience using Enterprise Insights to build this for us, which should not be necessary for something so fundamental to basic tool usability!
