Issue Summary

This is reproducible in on-premise and Cloud version 10.124.2

In the backlog view, opening an unassigned work item and then closing it has the effect of making it disappear from the list and the item counter displays one less. 

The issue is in old and new navigation. This affects all backlogs, not just feature backlog.

Steps to Reproduce

• Open the backlog view (list view or kanban view) with at least one quarter selected
• Open a work item from the "Unassigned Backlog" section (this does not happen for items that have a quarter entered), then close it
• Observe, it disappeared from the Unassigned Backlog

The work item stays in the Unassigned Backlog and the counter stays the same

Actual Results

The work item disappears from the page and the counter displays one item less

Workaround

Refreshing the page allows you to retrieve the complete list but the behavior occurs again.
