Issue Summary
Feature Backlog's 'Program PI Velocity' calculation is not consistent with the accepted points reflected in Program Room.
Per Backlog for features doc:
Program PI Velocity: The average number of level-of-effort points accepted by the program in the previous two PIs. This value displays when a program and program increment are selected in the Configuration bar. Click the gear icon to override a program’s PI velocity.
Steps to Reproduce
With some accepted work in recent two completed PIs
- Open Program Room, set Tier 1 with Program and most recently completed PI. Check accepted Story points
- Change Tier 1 to same Program and second most recently completed PI. Check accepted Story points
- Open Feature Backlog, change Tier 1 to same Program and current (In-progress) PI. Check "Program PI Velocity" column value
Expected Results
Feature Backlog 'Program PI Velocity' should equal sum of Program Room's accepted points for two previous PIs divided by 2.
Actual Results
Feature Backlog 'Program PI Velocity' does not equal sum of Program Room's accepted points for two previous PIs divided by 2.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
