Issue Summary
On-Premise Package : Jira Align self-hosted guide : Chocolately dependency installation throws dotnet4.8 not installed error
This is reproducible on Data Center: (yes)
Steps to Reproduce
- Download the latest Install Guide
- At page 10, the webserver.ps1 script line 17 says:
choco install dotnet4.8 - After following previous steps, run webserver.ps1 script
- When this line runs, it throws the following error:
Expected Results
The webserver.ps1 script runs flawlessly.
Actual Results
The dotnet4.8 not installed error is thrown.
Workaround
We've successfully installed the .NET Framework 4.8 by replacing choco install dotnet4.8 with choco install netfx-4.8.
Investigation Done
By checking Chocolately page we've found several references to the .NET Framework 4.8.

Per our findings, the proper one is likely choco install netfx-4.8. Please confirm and update the Install Guide accordingly.
