    Description

      Issue Summary

It's possible to modify Key Results Title, Target Date, and Owner in the Objectives details panel New Experience when Portfolio Objectives Add/Save Role permission is disabled.

It's an inconsistency from the classic view where we cannot modify KRs.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Make a role with Portfolio Objectives enabled, but all other permissions disabled
      2. Open an Objective's details panel in classic view, observe that we cannot modify anything except for related items like risks, dependencies, children epics, etc
        • When expanding KRs, everything appears as read-only
      3. Switch to the new experience, observe some fields appear modifiable but do not save, and revert on refresh
        • KRs title, owner, and target date are modifiable and fully save - changes persist after refreshing the page
        • It's not possible to add new KRs or check in

      Expected Results

Based on classic experience and the fact that new KRs cannot be added and check-in is not available in either experience, we should not be able to modify KRs with Add/Save permission disabled.

      Actual Results

Can modify KR title, owner, and target date in the new experience.

      Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
