is a bit ambiguous on reading
If an item is associated with a program only, all roles in the program selected in workflow will receive an email outlining the changes.
If an item is associated with a program and team, all roles on the teams selected in workflow will receive an email outlining the changes.
Its led to some confusion in Support about whether the circumstances for JIRAALIGN-4597 are a bug or not.
Its ambiguity about what settings it's referring to is confusing, and in particular relation to Dependencies, it's confusing, because Dependencies are split into Program Dependency and Team Dependency.
And as an Epic Dependencies (for example) can ONLY be associated with a Program, then
does that mean:
1. all the roles in a Program [team] would receive the emails?
2. or does it mean all the roles selected in the workflow would receive the emails.
And if it's 1, then why does the Program Dependency option even exist?
(which is why we created bug JIRAALIGN-4597 )
