Description
Issue Summary
When the Group By Objective is used on the Roadmap for Epics/Capabilities, it will show the data as expected, but if a filter by Themes or Epics is used, the Objective information will not appear on the Roadmap.
See an example with the roadmap grouped by Objective:
Now when a filter by Epic is added, the Epic shows as expected, but the group by objective shows it as "No Objective":
And how a different filter, like for Features, displays it again:
Steps to Reproduce
- Have an Epic, with PI and children's items on it
- Create an Objective on this Epic
- Now on the Roadmap, select the correct Program + PI
- On View Configurations > Other Options > Select Group by Objective
- See how the Epic appears grouped by the Objective
- Now on the Filters > select Epic (or Themes), and find the same Epic and use it as a filter
- See how the Objective information is not displayed
- Try different levels of filter and notice how it shows the Objective
Expected Results
The Group by Objective would work regardless of the filter used.
Actual Results
If the filter used is an Epic or Theme, the group by Objective doesn't show the objective.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
