    Description

      Issue Summary

Customer requests to increase the number of characters in the Initial Metric field for Success Criteria.
Currently, the Initial Metric field within the Success Criteria module only allows for 5 characters. The Target Metric allows for 11. This prevents measuring the decrease in cost for any amount in which the initial cost is $1,000,000 or more.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Select Portfolio from the left menu bar.
      2. Under the Portfolio section, select Success Criteria; the Success Criteria page displays.
      3. On the toolbar (top-right of the page), click the Add Success Criterion button.
      4. Set the fields accordingly.
      5. Decide on the metric used to measure your success criterion, and then select the metric unit from the corresponding drop-down menu.
      6. Set the initial and target metric in the corresponding boxes.
      7. From the Metric Measure drop-down menu, select the period by which you want to track your progress.

      Expected Results

Based on the customer's understanding, the Success Criteria is to reduce Cost (for example from $20,000,000 to $500,000).
The current design prevents measuring the decrease in cost for any amount in which the initial cost is $1,000,000 or more.

      Actual Results

This prevents measuring the decrease in cost for any amount in which the initial cost is $1,000,000 or more.

      Workaround

Help describes the field as "Decide on the metric used to measure your success criterion, and then select the metric unit from the corresponding drop-down menu."
It could be used to capture the metric as "Millions of dollars" as presented in the screenshot.
The Metric Used value is included in the graph that is generated.
