    Description

      Issue Summary

      Customer reports issues using Ampersand character on Program name

      This is reproducible on Data Center: YES
      It was reproduced on Jira Align Data Center 10.105.2 and 10.106.3 as well

      Identified the bug Status Reports: Some of the special characters are displayed as HTML code in the Report title reporting a similar issue.
      Based on the last comment, "Closed in 10.70, now characters: & and " display properly, not using HTML tags" the bug was previously fixed.

      Steps to Reproduce

      • Be sure to use the Program column at the Objective grid
      1. Create a Program using ampersand character on the Title, for example, "San & Vicente Program";
      2. Go to Objective grid then create a new Objective selecting "Portfolio" at Tier field;
      3. Complete all required fields, Save the work item then validate/check the Program created in Step 1 is listed in the Programs field;
      4. Save & Close the Objective

      Expected Results

      Program name presented properly on Objective grid

      Actual Results

      The ampersand character is presented as "&amp ;" for the Program on the Objective grid

      Additional details

      • If the Objective is created using Team, Program, or Solution at Tier field, the issue is not presented;
      • Just for test purposes, created a new Feature and a new Defect using the same Program created in Step 1 but the display issue is NOT presented on Features nor on Defects grids;
      • As mentioned above, identified a bug reporting a similar issue. For test purposes, created a Program using quotation mark character but the display issue was NOT presented on the Objective grid

      Workaround

      Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior.
      The only workaround identified is NOT to use the ampersand character.
