Issue Summary
This doesn't happen consistently or on demand, but it happens freqently enough we need dev assistance. There is an issue under add people that gives users the appearance that the new user being added to Jira Align already exists in the system (when they don't). When you navigate to the people grid and search for the email/user and check the audit log this user was clearly just added by through the UI.
Steps to Reproduce
Create a new user
The user receives an error message "This email already exists, please try again"
Check the People grid and search for the email
The people grid will find the user, but the audit log user creation date shows this user was just created.
Expected Results
We shouldn't show a false error if the user doesn't exist
Actual Results
User creates despite the false error, but cause confusion for end-users (admins) who are adding new team members
Workaround
No workaround needed for this issue, the system works despite the false error message
