Jira Connector: Stories failed to sync with Jira Cloud.

      Issue Summary

      There was a change in the format on how Jira cloud returns the Sprint custom field data and this is causing an issue when Jira Align syncs a story from Jira.

      Steps to Reproduce

      Note: This issue occurs for Jira Cloud integration.

      1. Update a Story in Jira and wait for it to sync with Jira Align

      Expected Results

      The story should synchronize and the changes will reflect in Jira Align.

      Actual Results

      The story doesn't sync with this error in the logs:

       Exception: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available

            We are in 10.78. I still have issues with the sync.  just checked my Iteration 2 and 7 stories haven't synced

            Vinay, Check which version you have. We have 10.78 released on the Australian instance earlier today and I have been able to run the Jira Integration JQL update with Project specified and  "" updated > "2020/08/30 00:00". "" to catch all of the changes since the connector stopped synching Sprint information.   Hope this helps.

            Hello Everyone,

            Thank you for raising this critical issue and helping us in resolving it as quickly as possible. 
            We fully acknowledge this is impacting core functionality of the product which is hindering your ability to do PI planning and other key activities with Jira Align. 

            We have made the code change to fix this problem. Currently, we are running our quality checks with plans to deploy the fix on the 10.78 production release coming this Friday evening (Sept 11th). Since this requires changes to accommodate the updated Jira Cloud API, we must run full regression tests to ensure the Story sync works as expected while not impacting other aspects of the product. 

            As we progress with the validation process we will update the Status and Fix Versions of this bug ticket, and will post a comment confirming this has been released to 10.78. 

            We are working on this as the highest priority and will keep you posted on our progress.

            Thanks for working on this, we are dooing our PI Planning this week and it's our first with Align, hope the connector will work soon!
