Issue Summary

When inputting an announcement, you can create format the content with line breaks. Once clicking, "Add", all the formatting is lost. 

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to Announcements
2. Type in content that as a line break
3. Click "Add Announcement"
4. Notice the missing formatting

Expected Results

Content should be formatted how it is entered in the "Announcement" box

Content is missing formatting
