[JIRAALIGN-1408] Backlog: Epic progress/Epic Story points and Feature progress/Feature Story points values are using different calculation algorithms

Issue Summary

Backlog: Epic progress/Epic Story points and Feature progress/Feature Story points values are using different calculation algorithms

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a Program
2. Create 2 PIs and assign them to the Program.
3. Create a few anchors for each PI.
4. Create a team and generate Srpints for it.
5. Create Epic>Capability>Feature>Story. All Assigned to the Program and first PI
6. Open Story, assign it to Team. Select Sprint from the second PI in the Sprint box. Save.
7. Go to Epics Backlog with Program and first PI selected in Context Menu.
8. Enable Story Points and Progress in columns shown
9. Check Epic progress and compare it with Feature progress
10. Check Epic Story Points and compare them with Feature Story Points

Expected Results

As per PdM discussions calculations on Epics and Capabilities should be aligned to Features and show progress based on calculating all stories which are:

• Aligned(Sprint Story is assigned to is mapped to PI from the context menu)
• Misaligned(Sprint Story is assigned to is not mapped to PI from the context menu)
• Unassigned(Sprint is set to Unassigned Backlog)

Actual Results

Feature progress/Feature Story points are calculated by Story to PI assignment ignoring Story to Sprint assignment. So all stories are included:

• Aligned(Sprint Story is assigned to is mapped to PI from the context menu)
• Misaligned(Sprint Story is assigned to is not mapped to PI from the context menu)
• Unassigned(Sprint is set to Unassigned Backlog)

Epic progress/Epic Story points are calculated by Story to PI assignment and by Story to Sprint assignment. So not all stories are included:

• Aligned(Sprint Story is assigned to is mapped to PI from the context menu)
• Unassigned(Sprint is set to Unassigned Backlog)

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
