Issue Summary

When the Confluence site is open for anonymous users, the spaces that are also open will be accessible to any unauthenticated user from the internet, or unlicensed authenticated users.

But if the user accesses the page as an anonymous user, then clicks to log in from there, the user will receive either an access denied screen, or the request access screen (depends on the site access configuration - if set to users can request access they will get the request access screen, if set to new users can't request access they ** will get the access denied screen).

Steps to Reproduce

1. Have a Confluence site open to anonymous users with a at least one space also open for anonymous users.
2. Access it while not authenticated to Atlassian.
3. Click on the log in icon on the top-right corner of the screen
4. Authenticate as you normally do.

Expected Results

User is redirected to the Confluence page they were accessing on the first place.

Actual Results

User receives an access denied page, or a request access to Confluence page.

Workarounds

Option 1: Use an incognito window or a different web browser.

Option 2: If you are not a licensed user on the site, simply input the same URL for the public page as before and it should load again.

Option 3: If you are a licensed user on the site, on the access denied page, click to Log in to another account and log in with the same account. You will be redirected to the Confluence page you are trying to access and your user will be authenticated.
