      Issue Summary

Invite emails should respect Jira site settings language setting or the users language preferences (if available)

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Set the Jira language site settings to anything other than English.
      2. Invite someone to the site

      Expected Results

You should receive an email with the 'subject <user> has invited you to join them' but this should be in the language set in the Jira site preferences. The body of the email should also be in the language set in the Jira site preferences.

      Actual Results

You receive an email in English rather than in your preferred language.

      Workaround

Use the Personalise email invite feature

But please be aware of its limitations:

      • ID-8113 – New line formatting is not honoured in Personalise Invitation Email
      • ID-7572 – Provide more formatting options for Personalise Invitation Email e.g. hyperlinks, bold text
