      Resolution Update

      Hi,

We recently released an improved version of the G Suite integration, as part of Atlassian Access, that supports syncing G Suite groups. Learn all about the changes in this blog post.

      Thank you,

      Current situation

At the moment, there can only one default configuration when we create users through G-Suite sync. This default configuration is set in the Application Access configuration in Atlassian's User Management panel.

      Suggestion

When syncing G-Suite, allow admin to configure or map a G-Suite Group to a specific application access (JIRA or Confluence or Both)

      Why this is important?

When we are syncing users from G-Suite group with multiple groups, it would be really handy if we can define which G-Suite group has access to which app. This is because users have different needs (JIRA, Confluence, or both). At the moment, we had to change this manually, which can be a hassle for large amount of users.
