+1 this is necessary to expand our enterprise config for Jira and Confluence.

Why is this so difficult? Other cloud services do this when connecting to GSuite. Not sure what the hold up is or why you'd make everyone wait so long for it. In the meantime, our jobs are made more difficult because of features like this missing that should have been available from the start.

Well said. Agree, we want to lock down Jira and we do not agree that this is a "plugin"...

10-year-old ticket. Needs an update with the roadmap. 

Honestly, Atlassian is one of our most insecure apps currently. We did the SSO with Gsuite and turned off all notifications for new users, but it still allows local auth, and it still sends us invites from Gmail users. We have reported this so many times I have lost count. Support tries to help, learns that it is hard to fix and then slowly begins to walk away.

I want G Suite to control all access to Atlassian. I don't want any local auth. And I don't want to have to purchase another product to get basic security. Security should be provided out of the box and should be a top priority at Atlassian.

Would also appreciate an update on this.
