    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

      Two-step verification is now available

      What is two-step verification?
Two-step verification secures your Atlassian account by requiring a second login step. That second step helps to keep your account secure, even if your password is compromised.

How do I enable two-step verification?
You can choose to enable two-step verification from your Atlassian account profile at id.atlassian.com. Read more about enabling two-step verification for your account.

Additionally, the ability to enforce two-step verification is available as part of Atlassian Access. More information about Atlassian Access. If you’re an organization administrator looking to enforce two-step verification, read more about it here.

Sorry, but it's a shame that there is no 2FA (TOTP & HOTP) available for Jira and Confluence.

            Just to remeber your words:

            Security first

Customer trust is at the center of what we do. With over 107,000 customers, security is a top priority. That's why we are transparent with our security program, so you can feel safe using our products and services.

Sorry, no trust! It's 2017 and using only username and password for authentication is just obsolete!

It is very necessary to have such functionality list, in jira cloud there is a lot of sensitive information that must be protected with more robust policies, user and password is obsolete, belongs to the past.

This is not a low priority request.  This feature will determine whether or not we use this product.  (Hah, I accidentally pasted in that dog picture.  Oh well!  Maybe it will draw some attention and get someone to give us an update or timeline.)

Given the increasing pressure of security, I would like to suggest prioritizing this. Unless you entirely disable JIRA login, and enforce Login with Google, which probably won't happen soon, 2FA really needs to be implemented, JIRA is currently our biggest security hole!

            Any Updates on this ?

Every business cloud application must have 2FA. How come this is still not the case for JIRA Cloud?

More and more companies are storing their confidential and sensitive information in the Atlassian Cloud. The lack of two factor authentication to secure access is an inhibitor to adoption. I can't see how this can be categorised as a Low priority?
