    Description

      Summary

      When the Linux client is active, it disables system from going power management such as sleep, suspend.

      Environment

      • Linux environment

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Enable power management from Linux OS
      2. Set suspend period to one minute
      3. Run Linux client
      4. Wait the OS to suspend for one minute

      Expected Results

      The system enters power saving mode and is suspended.

      Actual Results

      The system is not suspended as HipChat is still running.

      Notes

      Results is rather inconsistent. At times, the Linux system did went into suspend mode but other times not.

      Workaround

      Manually trigger power management tools
