Audio/Video call fails after initial call is successful - Windows v4.0.1625

Summary

Multiple issue in video/audio call

1. User unable to answer the call as the accept button doesn't popup but did get a notification of call and is ringing.
2. When user tries to initiate a video/audio call after a previous attempt has been made, it will say the user is already in a session and if the user presses ok it will popup a white video/audio call.
3. User status is stuck in On Call

Environment

• Windows 10
• Windows 8
• Windows 7

Step to reproduce

1. Open HipChat Windows client 4.0.1625
2. Initiate call from user A to B
3. After that user B hangup
4. User B try to call user A
5. When initiating a video call it will say that user b is in a session
6. Click yes and the white video/audio window will popup now close it
7. From here user B status is change to "On A Call"
8. User A call User B
9. User B will get notification of incoming call and ringing sound but no accept button

Expected Results

User can make a video/audio call

Actual Results

Multiple issue with video/audio call

1. Initiating the audio/video call will popup a notification saying in a session
2. Then the white screen popup
3. User status is stuck On Call even without any active session
4. No Accept button but notification did say have an incoming call and the ringing sound can be heard

Workaround

• Logout/exit completely from HipChat client and re-login.
