HipChat Server: Video Preview is not working

Environment

• HipChat Server 1.4.3
• HipChat Server 2.0.6
• HipChat Mac Client 4.28.0

Steps to reproduce

1. Open a conversation / room in the Mac client
2. Upload avi, mp4, m4v, mkv, mov video to a room / 1-1 conversation
3. Click on the link to open up the Video Preview

Current behaviour

The error message below will be displayed:

" Ouch! We can't load the media file."

Expected behaviour

The video preview should be displayed on the client

Workaround

You can still download the file to view it from the machine itself

Note

mp4 preview can be previewed from web client
