Details

    Description

      At this time, we are unable to show the user avatar in every HipChat clients as viewing user avatars from Confluence/JIRA currently requires authentication, which is not possible in all but the web client, where it will work if the user is already logged into Confluence/JIRA in another tab.

      Suggestions
      1. Provide an option in JIRA to allow unauthenticated access to the avatars or
      2. Have HipChat proxy access to JIRA (given JIRA already trusts HipChat)
