When is the fix for this going to be available? As with others, we had to disable the feedback button because of the error it was throwing with the latest Firefox. Yes, there are workarounds for this; but, it takes the user out of their planning process.

            When can we expect 6.1.4?

Experiencing the same issue. I also have feedback turned off to avoid the other bug as described by John.

Adding more "additional findings" to what was originally listed. I have observed that this issue only happens if the issue you create appears on the board you are currently on. Meaning to recreate you are in plan mode trying to add something to a backlog. I have not been able to recreate when:
Creating an issue from the work board (viewing current sprint)
Creating an issue while on plan board but have a quick filter applied that would exclude the item from appearing
Creating an issue while on plan board for project X and creating a new issue for Project Y

this is 100% repro for me on jira 5.2.4 / gh 6.1.2. we have to refresh the plan board to see anything we just added, the "$ is undefined" flavor.

            Exception: TypeError: $ is undefined
            Resource: https://jira.messagebus.com/s/en_US-6tlscw-418945332/845/18/d74a68f3d42aabb63d54c55d9187c2e1/_/download/contextbatch/js/gh-rapid/batch.js
            Line: 1181

ETA: we also have disabled an issue collector module to avoid another error, additionally we are now seeing GHS-7318 which has to do with returning an issue to the backlog from anywhere but the planning board. error also in .../batch.js.

            Hi,

I also get the error described by Peter Obara in JIRA 5.1.6 and GH 6.1.3.1 when creating issues inside the Agile interface. For me this seems to be fixed if I have the "Feedback" module enabled but I would really like to see this fixed!

            Thanks,
            Petru

Same problem jira 5.2.0 and GH 6.1.2 however I get it whether feedback (anayltics in labs) is enabled or not. I have also noticed I only receive it for issue types other than Epic. This is happening across 3 browsers and 2 OS. I have raised a support ticket and atlassian answers post (https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/130343/error-when-creating-issues-from-greenhopper?) and will post any findings here as well if it's resolved before this issue is marked as such
