      Problem Definition

      Currently if you create an issue on behalf of another use, using Proforma, then the issue creator is not recorded anywhere.

      For example;

      • If you create an issue using the built in Jira method: User A creates an issue on behalf of User B. User A is recorded in issue history as the creator, and User B is the Reporter
      • If you create an issue, using Proforma: User A creates an Issue on behalf of User B. User A is not recorded anywhere, User B is shown in History as the creator, and recorded as the Reporter.

      Suggested Solution

      Change Proforma to match the default Jira process, and preserve the original issue creator.

      Workaround

      No workaround at this time.

            [FORMDC-765] Preserve issue creator when creating on behalf of another user.
