Although the following documentation mention MySQL to be supported, the two most common flavors of MySQL are not specifically listed as ones that likely will cause issues.

MariaDB and Percona are proven to cause problems with FishEye/Crucible and we have open feature requests to support those (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/FE-5159, https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/FE-5284, https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/FE-5282), but since the documentation do not specifically mention they are not supported, in many cases users will make the assumption they are okay to use.
