When attempting to incrementally migrate a Connect app to Forge, we faced an issue: most of our app consists of webItems (pages), but Forge’s globalPage module groups multiple subpages under a single navigation item. This means we cannot migrate individual pages one by one; instead, we are forced to migrate all pages at once.

When we add a Forge {{globalPage }}it creates a separate navigation section in Jira, rather than merging with the existing Connect webItem, resulting in a poor user experience and it's preventing us from a staged/incremental migration

Would be really important to us to allow Forge globalPage items to merge with Connect webItems in the Jira navigation.
