In Connect apps, it is possible to access the current board and use it to modify the app's state. However, a similar functionality does not appear to be available within Forge. 

The boardId is not present in the context when launching the app from the jira:projectPage module, which poses a significant challenge for some partners' Connect apps and acts as a blocker for transitioning to Forge.
