While organizing things in the backlog, it would be really nice to be able to drop a task onto a story that has sub-tasks and convert that task into one of the subtasks, and vice-versa, it would be really nice to just pull a sub-task out to the Task level, and have it be a task. None of this batch convert window nonsense.

Drag and Drop relationships are very standard! Think of folders in Windows, etc.

Also this should be smooooth. Also also I'd point to Epics as an example of this, they're great! You can drop tickets into those easily and they're % tracked like sub-tasks, but they don't have the tyrannical restraints of sub-tasks. Please liberate us from the sub-task limitations (they're great though, just more fluidity please!).
