Often, we are looking to share information or a portion of the information on a Confluence page, where it would be completely inappropriate to share the entire page, as the information we want to share is just a small segment based on the heading structure. It would be really good if when you hit the Export to PDF button, we have the ability to export the entire page as is the current functionality, or to select via tick boxes the various headings and subheadings and only export the specific content selected.

 

The only option at present is to export the document and then try and edit the PDF, which is cumbersome, or to try and copy and paste into the body of an email. However, often formatting and images do not correctly copy across.

The Word document export is potentially an option, however the look and feel of the Word document is not nearly as refined as that of the PDF export and there is no way to modify or update the word export template to improve this.
