Date Picker field in Forge UI Kit 2 configuration macro for Confluence is unresponsive

    • Major

      Issue Summary

When using the Date Picker field when you create a configuration macro in a Forge app in Confluence, it does not work. The field shows up but when you click it, nothing happens.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a sample "Hello World" app using Forge in Confluence.
      2. Select the UI Kit Category and choose the confluence-macro template.
      3. Now, try to create a macro with configuration like this tutorial with a Date Picker field and deploy to your test site.
      4. Create a new confluence page, insert the macro you just created and click on the date picker

      Expected Results

Upon clicking the Date Picker, a calendar should appear, allowing for date selection.

      Actual Results

The Date Picker field is displayed, but clicking it does not trigger any action, and the calendar does not appear.

      Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this issue. Updates will be provided as a workaround becomes available.
