We would like to request Atlassian to consider allowing apps to redact text in Confluence pages history. 

Our Compliance for Confluence app aims to resolve Confluence customers issues around data loss prevention, classification and detection. In particular, we provide sensitive data detection which allows Confluence customers to monitor data wrongly shared on their Confluence spaces. 

Once the data is detected, the natural next step for a customer would be to remove the sensitive data from the page AND from the page history, in order to resolve the data loss incident. 

Yet, currently, Confluence does not give permission to apps to edit the page history. 

Can you please consider providing this functionality?
