Currently data residency is not a concept available to MCP Server since it does not store any data itself, that solves the use case when it comes to data storage.

But still, data processing is not something that can be controlled and it can be done in separate regions, which might be a blocker for some companies depending on their security policies.

Suggestion

Make it possible to control data processing in MCP Server so it only occurs in preferable regions.
