Currently, Forge automation modules are designed to support custom Actions, but they do not yet support custom Triggers. As noted in the documentation (Action), the automation:action module is specifically built to add custom actions to Atlassian Automation rules.

Therefore, it's not possible to create a Forge module that functions as a "When" trigger (such as "Issue created," "Form submitted," or "Manual trigger") within the Automation trigger list. There's a JSM Forms trigger available in the UI, but it's an internal product-specific integration and is not currently exposed or available through Forge.

Having custom triggers would provide us more flexibility for our integration.
