Trigger Remote Directory Synchronization in Crowd via Remote API

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

This product improvement request tracks the ability for administrators to initiate a Crowd remote directory sync via Crowd Remote API without having to log into the Crowd UI. This would include all types of directories which have an active syncing schedule, including:

      • LDAP Connector
      • Remote Crowd Directory

We are expecting an API end point for the Crowd directory sync.

Our use case for this feature is that we add new users and their group membership through an automated ldif import but then we have to manually connect to crowd UI and clic "synchronize now" button on the directory. With the API we could just add a line to the current automated process.

API call should pass in the Crowd directory ID to sync.
