Background
In a setup where Crowd is used as a user directory, and Crowd, in turn, connects to a delegated LDAP directory, incremental synchronization is not supported because that remote Crowd directory is not local or fully synchronized.
In instances with large user directories, this improvement would allow new users to be brought over to applications like Jira or Confluence quicker and possibly have a smaller impact on performance than full synchronization.
