Send email with username and password when new user is added

      When adding a new user to a Crowd directory it would be useful to send username and password information to the new user so that he can login and change his password.
      The documentation at http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CROWD/Adding+a+User says "If you have configured an email server and a notification template, Crowd will send the user an email notification about their new password.". However, this feature does not work (exist?) in Crowd 1.6.

            I was thinking the same thing when setting up version 1.6.1 of Crowd. The only time it seems to send email to the user is when an administrator uses the Reset Password link to set the password for another user to a random value.

            It would be nice to have the option to be able to send a new account announcement email to the account owner with a random password automatically set rather than having to set the password manually, complete the account creation, and then reset the password. The new account announcement email should use a template separate from the password change notification template.
