Description
We are trying to use Crucible (And have FishEye and Jira installed and integrated together). In many cases, we want to have reviews performed before the checkin is committed. The patch feature works for this, however, the patch files do not show all the source.
There is a painful workaround:
http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CRUCIBLE/2.1.7+Creating+a+Patch+Review
whereby the user tells the diff util to add ALL the lines of the file to the patch. This makes it very painful for the users and many don't do it.
THe result is that people try to review the patch without much context (just a few lines around the changed code.)
Since we have fisheye and crucible can talk to fisheye, it would make sense for it to just be able to apply that patch to the correct revision as retrieved from FishEye.
We are having a hard time getting users to actually use Crucible because of this.
