External group with a comma does not work on the Team Calendar permission setting page

XMLWordPrintable

      Problem

When setting permissions in Team Calendar, external group names containing a comma (",") are not processed correctly. Instead of being recognized as a single group, the system splits the name into multiple parts, causing permission assignment issues.

      Environment

      Confluence DC bundled Team Calendar

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Set up an external user management system such as OpenLDAP or Active Directory.
      2. Sync an external group that contains a comma (",") in its name (e.g., "Engineering, DevOps").
      3. Navigate to the Team Calendar permission setting page in Confluence.
      4. Click on the Group Search button to add a group.
      5. Search for and select the synced external group with a comma or slash in its name.
      6. Confirm the addition of the group.

      Expected Results

The group should be added as a single entity, with its full name preserved.

      Actual Results

The group name is split into multiple separate entries, breaking the permission assignment.

      Workaround
