External group with a comma or a slash does not work on space/global permissions page

      Atlassian Update – 24 May 2023

      Hello Everyone,

      I'm one of the Product Managers working on Confluence Data Center and wanted to thank you for your interest in this fix.

      We recognise the need to resolve this issue, however this is not currently on our short-term roadmap.

      We are investigating when and how we can deliver a fix in the future and will be sure to share any updates.

      Using the name "mygroup, more" or "mygroup\, more" for an external group as a 'page restriction' (view or edit) will not work.
