Add information about (outbound HTTP) proxy settings to System Info

    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

It would be great to obtain the PROXY information under the System tab.

Result could look something like this:

      Proxy Settings
      Java version: C:\j2sdk1.4.2_13\jre
      Proxy Host: xyz
      Proxy Port: 8080
      Non Proxy Hosts: *.<domain>
      Proxy User: 8080
      Proxy Password: 8080

SaM created a jsp already - see attached.

        1. proxy.jsp
          1 kB
        2. proxy.jsp
          1 kB

Charles added this as part of CONF-16298 to Confluence 3.1. You can see proxy information under the "JVM Runtime Parameters" or "jvmInputArguments", as the corresponding system properties will be there.

While easy enough to add to the 500page.jsp, this strikes me as something perfect for the Xproduct support tools plugin.

Fixed cut n paste typos in jsp.

            Good idea.

As this page expands, we need to make this page easily accessible for users, but also collate all the information for sending with support cases. JIRA's system info page is way too long now; we need to come up with a better way of presenting the information.
