Description
Issue Summary
Editing Word attachments is not launching the 'Companion App' but giving the following prompt to Install:
Environment
- Confluence 7.4.0
- Companion App (v1.0.0)
- Windows
Steps to Reproduce
- Install Confluence 6.15.9
- Create a page and attach a .docx attachment to the page and Publish.
- Click on the attachment to Edit
- Companion App would be prompted to be downloaded and installed.
- Once the Installation completed, Word attachment should be able to be launched using the Companion App.
- Upgrade Confluence to 7.4.0
- Edit the .docx attachment.
Expected Results
The Word Document should be able to be launched in the Companion App.
Actual Results
The following entry found to be stuck at 'Checking for update' in Companion.log file:
