XMLWordPrintable

    • Severity 3 - Minor

      Issue Summary

When you disable an external user directory, Gatekeeper should not show the users and groups coming from that user directory.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Configure an external user directory
      2. Synchronize the users and groups from there
      3. Go to Inspect Permissions
      4. You should see the list of new users and groups there (In the case of a delegated user directory, once a user logs in)
      5. Now go back to User Directories
      6. Disable that directory

      Expected Results

Those users and groups shouldn't show in the Inspect Users and Groups list

      Actual Results

Those users and groups are still in that list and Gatekeeper displays the following message The explanation for this permission could not be found

      Workaround

The only workaround is to do the following:

      1. Remove the user directory
      2. Enable and Disable the Gatekeeper plugin
