Summary
When using the Multimedia macro to view videos, it might work or not. The video start but stops at a certain time saying that they are either corrupted or run into a decoding problem. It's unclear what causes the problem reported here since it's not consistent.
Steps to replicate
- Install Confluence 6.12.x with either Oracle/Adopt java
- Create a test space/page
- Remain on the page Editor mode and Drag'n drop a mp4 or mov file (it will automatically become a multimedia macro), best if it's around 30mb or more.
- Execute the video with the browser dev console + network open to monitor the error.
- Firefox and Chrome were used and had different results depending on the file, not its type.
- We're going to see the below errors:

Expected results
Video will run without problems.
Actual results
Video suddenly stops and needs to be started again from where it stopped.
