      Summary

According to Is it possible to turn off the table sorting feature users can disable this system add-on if they don't want the table sorting feature in Confluence.

However, if you disable this add-on, it makes impossible to insert the Content Report Table macro (and likely other things).

      Environment

      • Confluence Server (tested in 6.6.0, 6.10.0, 6.9.1 as of the writing of this bug)

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Follow the steps in Is it possible to turn off the table sorting feature
      2. Create a new page.
      3. Insert the Content Report Table macro on a page, save.

      Expected Results

Upon viewing the page, you'd expect to see the macro.

      Actual Results

      Macro does not display.

Caused by: com.atlassian.soy.renderer.SoyException: Unable to compile Soy templates at: com.atlassian.confluence.plugins.confluence-content-report-plugin:resources
Caused by: com.google.common.util.concurrent.UncheckedExecutionException: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Required plugin module com.atlassian.confluence.plugins.confluence-sortable-tables:sortable-table-hooks was either missing or disabled

      Workaround

Workaround would be to leave the add-on enabled.
